Update- if you have received text on 30/01/21

I am very sorry to say that a member of staff has tested positive for Covid 19 at the Barnwood nursery. Your child has been identified as a close contact and will need to isolate until midnight on 6th February. If you have more than one child at the nursery, it is the child in the preschool group who needs to isolate. I have attached a letter from the Department of Education helpline with all the details. The rest of the family do not need to isolate as long as your preschool child is not showing any symptoms of Covid 19. As we are working from home we do not have the actual registers with us, if your child was NOT in nursery on Wednesday 27th January, they will not need to isolate, please let me know if this is the case.

You child can return to nursery on 8th February and we will credit your account with the fees for the sessions missed.

Despite all the infection control measures that we have put in place, this does, unfortunately, happen on occasion and I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused. If you have any urgent enquiries, please contact me at [email protected], otherwise you can contact the nursery on  Monday, which will be open as usual.

Kind regards

Letter 30 Jan 21
