Update- plans in case government close nurseries

Hello all

There has been some discussion in the news recently that further lockdown measures may be required. One of the suggestions is that nurseries should close to all but vulnerable children and the children of critical workers. If this happens all 3 Chestnuts Day Nurseries WILL remain open for vulnerable children and the children of critical workers. I wanted to get some plans in place in case of this. I have attached the Government list of what constitutes a Critical Worker. If you will need a place for your child, could you please email me at [email protected], the following information in the format posted below:-

Child’s name-

Nursery attended-

Parent/carer’s name-

Critical Worker role-

It would be a great help, if you could keep to just the information required to assist me in processing all of the emails. If you need a place, could you let me know by the end of the day on Tuesday 12th January, so I can begin to plan in case the government make this decision. Until this time, we will remain open as usual and the advice remains that early years settings remain low risk environments for children and staff.

Thanks for your help
