I have had numerous emails from parents questioning the rationale behind our decision to not allow children to attend 2 settings. With many children having siblings who will be returning to school next week and with clubs and extra curricular activities beginning to open, it does seem to be a little pointless. The government guidance states:-
Parents and carers should be encouraged to limit the number of settings their child attends, ideally ensuring their child only attends the same setting consistently.
We have decided that from September the decision as to whether a child attends 2 settings should be made by the parent. We would ask that you inform us if your child is attending 2 settings .I am sorry if our previous decision has caused anxiety and worry about your childcare provision and for the short notice of the change. We obviously have had to make lots of decisions and are constantly reviewing them in these unprecedented times. If you have any queries regarding this matter, please contact me at [email protected]
